A huge thanks to all that participated in Friday’s Giveaway Extravaganza, it was certainly pretty crazy around these parts! At some points the entries were coming in at one per second, that’s just nuts! Overall, you clocked in nearly 50,000 page views within the 24 hour period. Go big or go home!
For all contests (unless otherwise noted below), I only counted entries that made the cutoff.
With that, let’s dive into the awards presentation!

6AM Giveaway: Polar RCX3 (Two Winners)
Sorry about the issues on this. While I had all the entries set to automatically open, I have to manually close them. And unfortunately, when I woke up each time to Tweet/Close the entries in the middle of the night, I closed the wrong one. Thanks to all that caught it, this was extended to makeup for it, and I accepted all entries on the post (including those later), plus those that e-mailed or Facebook’d me about this specifically, hence why the entry number is higher than the comment posted number.
My In-Depth Product Review: Polar RCX3
Product Source: Polar, used in product review (both look new, with new batteries)
Entries: 958 (on post) + 21 (Facebook/e-mail) = 979

RCX3 Winner #2: #379 – Krazi
Remember, there were two winners on this one. The first one below gets their choice of the two units, with the second person getting the other one.

Hmm wonder if the Kevin who won the Timex run trained.
what a super fun giveaway!!
congrats to all the winners :)
Ray, you’re a good man for doing this. Just want to mention one thing…many people voted twice (or more). In fact, one WINNER commented at least twice (the nice Garmin F910XT). Just a cursory scroll up and you can see the second comment (besides the one that won). While you should NEVER look a gift horse in the mouth. I do feel a tad uneasy that people don’t respect your rules and win anyway. Really hope you find a better system in the future. Here’s hoping.
Awesome deal! Thanks for thinking of everyone!
Thanks for the giveaway and the amazing site!
I won the Timex Run Trainer and sent you an email yesterday. Just posting here as well so you know to look for it since I’m sure you receive hundreds of emails a day.
