DC Rainmaker Partners (2026)

One of the biggest rules on the site is that I don’t have partnerships/advertising relations/etc with companies that I’d review. Period. However, there are tons of great companies in the sports & fitness space that do amazing things and are logical partners to support my efforts here. These are companies that I have zero intention of reviewing; their products fall outside the scope of things I review. Still, I use their products on a daily basis, often having bought them long before they became a partner.

Here’s a single go-to list, in alphabetical order, of all of my current partnerships. You’ll see these companies/products sprinkled throughout posts/videos, as I actually use these products day to day. Huge thanks to these awesome companies for supporting what I do here, which in turn allows me to remain neutral when it comes to the work that I do in reviewing other companies and their products.

Canyon:

Canyon bikes have been found in the DC Rainmaker lair since 2017, when I purchased my first Canyon road bike frame to build up. I’m a fan of the company as they have bikes for all aspects of our cycling-forward lifestyle. Our household is fully kitted out in Canyon bikes, boasting everything from triathlon, road, gravel, MTB, and our newest Canyon edition, their urban e-bikes!

Also, as a father of three daughters, I give Canyon huge props for their investment in the future of women’s cycling. Arguably, they are one of the biggest and most recognized women’s bike teams on the Pro Cycling World Tour.

Precision Fuel & Hydration:

Precison Fuel & Hydration is unquestionably our longest partnership. We’ve been working with them since 2018 when they first sponsored some FIT File podcasts, and fully supported our first DC Rainmaker Summer Open House with fuel and hydration for our cyclists!

Both myself and my wife use the full range of Precision’s products. I’ve done several multi-day treks, a 70km single-day-hike, all while carrying all the gel and hydration one can possibly carry. I’ve been enjoying the sherpa roll over the past few years, but still managed a marathon, an Ironman 70.3, and countless other questionable adventures fully fueled by Precision.

My wife undoubtedly holds the title of consuming the most of what they have to offer. Having completed 2x full ironmans (Kona included), several marathons, and countless middle-distance triathlons in the last 4 years. In general, she consumes an impressive amount of PF&H Carb as she’s still cranking out daily training sessions.

Once again, a huge thanks to these companies for supporting my goal of publishing independent reviews of sports tech devices.
