www.dcrainmaker.com/2012/08/hands-on-with-200-bluetooth-smart-power.html

As soon as I have a unit in my hands (hopefully Interbike) I’ll be putting it up against other power meters to see how it stacks up accuracy wise.

Tip of the day: Changing your Garmin FR60 battery

www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/11/tip-of-day-changing-your-garmin-fr60.html

Me on the other hand, I happened to stumble by the ANT+ booth at Interbike where they had a giant punch bowl of them free for the taking.

The Blog: A summary and historical view

www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/01/blog-summary-and-historical-view.html

It helps to support buying back gadgets for future questions, and it covers things like flying out to Interbike and reporting on what’s going on there in a way nobody else does, and things of the like.

Eurobike Sports Technology Things That Didn’t Fit: Part II

www.dcrainmaker.com/2012/09/eurobike-sports-technology-things-that_3.html

And with that, onto Part II! Enjoy! --- O-Synce GPS Bike Computers (and surprisingly cool software app) As a bit of background, it’s somewhat funny (to me at least) that at Eurobike (and Interbike), when companies try and have you understand what a given bike computer GPS unit does – they always start off with either “It’s comparable to the Edge 500” or “It’s comparable to the Edge 800”.

5 Random Things I Did This Weekend

www.dcrainmaker.com/2018/09/5-random-things-i-did-this-weekend-80.html

I’ll be planning an in-depth review in about 4 weeks or so, just after Interbike as I get more rides with it.

Eurobike Sports Tech Snippets Part 1: Cateye, Fly6, Elite Trainers, Wahoo, Canyon

www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/09/eurobike-snippets-trainers.html

Some of these I’ll expand down the line into longer posts – potentially at Interbike, or once a product is released.

2011 Sport Device GPS Accuracy In Depth: Part I

www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/06/2011-sport-device-gps-accuracy-in-depth.html

At this point I’d suspect I’ll wait until all of the summer related releases occur (including things leading up in EuroBike/Interbike in late August).

Behind the scenes: LeMond Fitness

www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/11/behind-scenes-lemond-fitness.html

Take for example, all of their show floor materials – for events such as Interbike:…

Power Meters and Pop-Tarts

www.dcrainmaker.com/2010/08/power-meters-and-pop-tarts.html

Vegas made sense since I’ll be down there for Interbike.

Elite Direto Trainer In-Depth Review

www.dcrainmaker.com/2017/09/elite-direto-trainer-in-depth-review.html

Expect my full annual round-up of trainers in the week following Interbike (so Sept 25th), as I’d like to see how the new Bkool and Minoura offerings look in person.

WatTeam PowerBeat Gen2 Power Meter In-Depth Review

www.dcrainmaker.com/2017/02/watteam-powerbeat-gen2-power-meter-in-depth-review.html

Next, in a post back at Interbike a few months ago, I showed their longer term vision for other crankset companies to be able to leverage their technology into a much more compact form factor onto the edge of the crank arm.

5 Random Things I Did This Weekend

www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/09/random-things-i-did-this-weekend-7.html

The end-state is arriving in Interbike a touch over a week from now.

Hands-on with the Lezyne Super GPS Bike Computer

www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/09/hands-lezyne-computer.html

Stay tuned for all the (leftover) Eurobike and (new) Interbike coverage this week! So follow along on Twitter to get…

Finally, a calm weekend.

www.dcrainmaker.com/2010/05/finally-calm-weekend.html

While I’m on that topic of new fangled toys and technology…I’ll be going out to Interbike in September this year, which means I’ll be able to give all of you the real inside scoop on the latest cycling and triathlon widgets and gizmo’s.

Tacx Bushido Trainer In-Depth Review

www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/12/tacx-bushido-trainer-in-depth-review.html

But with that suite not shipping until Interbike 2012 now, everything will be in preview mode until then (though I will say it’s pretty cool).

Mio adds wireless Shimano Di2 integration, ANT+ trainer control, and more to Cyclo bike units

www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/03/mio-di2-wireless-control.html

Though strangely, since Interbike the device has gotten substantially larger than it was since shown there in my previous post.

We’re moving to Paris…tomorrow!

www.dcrainmaker.com/2012/06/were-moving-to-paristomorrow.html

And, at present, I plan to be at Interbike too like usual (just registered this past weekend).

A brief tour of ANT+ enabled Fitness/Gym Equipment

www.dcrainmaker.com/2010/09/brief-tour-of-ant-enabled-fitnessgym.html

There are actually a handful of indoor fitness equipment manufacturers already working on ANT+ products destined for the gym (aka: commercial use), but there was only one vendor at Interbike that had ANT+ enabled gym products that I could play with in person.

Tidbits: Initial thoughts on LeMond Trainer, me being on TV Tuesday Night

www.dcrainmaker.com/2011/12/tidbits-initial-thoughts-on-lemond.html

The only times I had used the Revolution Trainer in the past was when I was on a show floor of some sort (Interbike, ANT+ Symposium, etc…).

Amazon Prime Day’s Sports Tech Deals (US and Europe)

www.dcrainmaker.com/2018/07/amazon-prime-days-sports-tech-deals-us-and-europe.html

Then GoPro historically the last week of September, along with new drones around then too and maybe some leftover cycling products timed to Interbike then.

First look at the Kinetic by Kurt $200 Bluetooth Smart inRIDE power meter trainer accessory

www.dcrainmaker.com/2012/08/first-look-at-kinetic-by-kurt-200.html

I’ll be grabbing a unit at Interbike in three weeks to take home, since I bought myself a Kurt Kinetic Road Machine trainer last winter to test out.

Power2Max introduces Type S mountain bike power meter, additional road bike models

www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/08/power2max-introduces-additional.html

Of course, like I’ve noted in other posts, I’ll be putting together a full power meter recommendations guide sometime after Interbike (that’s in two weeks), based on any and all power meter announcements that occur between now and then.

Elite Drivo Trainer In-Depth Review

www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/09/elite-drivo-trainer-in-depth-review.html

Perhaps upon my return from Interbike I’ll do one comparing it head to head with the new KICKR (aka KICKR2).
