I always go for a Christmas morning run. There’s nothing more fun than running around in the middle of the streets of DC while no one is awake and about.
10 km run this weekend followed by 1500 m swim

Easy, Honolulu Marathon on Dec. 14th. I can always use more gadgets!
No race planned, but I’m hopping it not raining tomorrow morning so I can get out on my local trail and run some hills.
After my kids are asleep tonight, I’ll run around the block for 5 miles (10 times around the block) Checking on the kiddies every half mile. It sucks, but at least it’s something.

Just an easy 10k run. Time to rest and recover.
Tomorrow or Sunday (depending on the weather tomorrow) I have what will probably be the longest run between now and the end of the year at 15 miles which is to be done at a modest (for me at least) pace of 8:37-9:53 min/mile.

My road to recovery workout ride. I plan on a 50 loop ride to work my way back into endurance cycling. I want to do at least one double century next year…I have completed 3 centuries this year but hindered due to a hip injury.

The Huff 50K in Albion, Indiana on December 20th. Third time running this one and third 50k this year. Getting excited!!
A short one, only a mile, but its my training partner that counts: my 5 year old daughter riding her bike to school. It has one hill, she’s done it in 19 minutes on her own bike without stabilises, but want to get it down to 14 so she can play in the park for 5 minutes before class. Future Vicky Pendalton in the making.
