Jungle trail, leeches, mosquitoes, 650m elevation, 19% gradient, 23km total run and 3hrs to run it! A good fun (slightly muddy) run.

2 hrs Zone 2 cycling with several 10 sec sprints
Plan was to push two long rides (150km+) to start the training for Mallorca 312. Reality is I got sick and barely made 100km, although I got to spend some extra time with the bosses (wife and kid).
I mountain biked the 350-mile Huracan 300 route in Florida.
It was a 20k planed easy but that got pretty hard, to end the workout and the day the fastest….

I had a 60 min trainer road workout and 10k run planned, but came down with a cold so had to rest and watch the cricket, 6 nations and premier league – shame!
On vacation in warm Florida from cold canada, so I did a wonderful ride from fort Lauderdale to West Palm. Nice to see the sun and the beach instead of grey sky and snow and ice.
I was supposed to do two 45 minute runs and a 90 minute easy bikeride. Instead I was lying in bed. Sick….
Recovery from last runs. I’m moving this week, so I’ve been busy and skipped some runs…
I’ve done a nice 25k run through the woods of Brandenburg (Germany). Not seen a single other person the entire run.
Ran up the forest behind home: 8.9km and 335m+
I have to make the most of my time (limited by family!) – I managed 50 miles in the wind and rain!

Just a couple quarter mile “sprints” with the dog.
One nice long aerobic ride (120+ km) with a stop off at the local parkrun to help the lady pace herself to a PB:)

Too cold to run for me — -30 C with the wind here in Montreal last weekend — so just a 1-hour swim session!
It was your typical cold Minnesota winter weather last Saturday but a group of us still ventured out to a local park for 10 miles on the winding trails.
20 mile run on Saturday, 6 mile walk on Sunday. Strength training on Sunday.
Running… indoors, of course! It was 5 deg (F) outside.
I meant to do a long run 20km +, however I ended up working this weekend….
Last weekend I had some parkrun tourism planned for the Saturday, and a long run of 38km planned for the Sunday, both of which I managed to get done somehow.
150 burpees + 150 situps
I was supposed to be on my basic trainer but instead I was recuperating from swing shifts.
Not much, unfortunately, as I’m currently struggling with motivation.
Saturday – Icebug Winter Trail, some 21 km/1000 m ascent in snowy Gorce mountains, followed by a 12 km recovery run Sunday.
45 min treadmill and strength in the gym followed by a good 20min in the sauna for recovery
Saturday: 8F and breezy, wussed out and ran 8 miles on ‘mill at marathon pace. Followed with a short (400) cooldown in the pool.
Sunday: Much nicer at 14F so did 12.5 miles with some nice hills
Running 13 milers every port day and trying to hit those 10K steps on sea days. Avoiding the treadmills like the plague.

This weekend I took it easy. Only fit in a short recovery run due to my knee injury. Things were looking good, so am able to build it up again!

Did some cross training at the gym during the week, weather hasn’t been great for running outside.
The Donna 26.2 marathon.
Frigid weather in the Mid-Atlantic states forced me to ride the trainer 2 hours on Saturday and another 1.5 hours on Sunday.
First “smart” Zwift session with my new Tacx trainer and some family hiking in the woods.
Saturday: 2k Swim/6k run.
Sunday: Glorious rest day, with light gardening.

Steady run and recovery swim on Sat, turbo and strength session on Sunday.
A couple of hard interval sessions on TrainerRoad and then a steady 60km on the MTB on the old abandoned railway. Fun in the sun (drizzle)
I completed my last long run (14.5 miles) before an upcoming trail half marathon in two weeks. Now, on to the taper!

Valentine’s Day’s “workout” was an epic 14-hour bus & jet bumblefest trying to get a mere 500 miles from Maine to Pittsburgh in -10 degree weather following oral surgery, and just missing connecting with my partner, who left to begin a two-week trip away from home. Whew! I’d rather have spent the time on the bike…
I ran 5k and did some of the exercise the physiotherapist gave me for my shoulder injury 🙂
Last weekend included a relaxing saturday and two hour cross coutry skiing on sunday, starting to prepare for a race next weekend.
No training last weekend.. was support crew for GF who had an important road race.. valentines day and all that, better be supportive 😉

I did 10km at 3:30 on saturday and 50′ of easy runnning on sunday
Ran 6 on Saturday in -30 windchill and wimped out on Sunday when windchill was-48 in lake placid.
12 mile taper for upcoming marathon
Not much really, an easy 13k checking out some new local trails and trying a pair of Mudclaws out. Training begins again in earnest this weekend for the Devil o’ the Highlands race later in the year.
I did swimming pool on wesnesday and biking saturday.
On saturday 5×4 intervalls on the trainer and recovery run on sunday.
Braved the -15 degree temps and did an 11 mile run and then broke most of my Trainer Road power numbers on a hard trainer ride
I was cycling, but due to a rather bad weather only 60 km or so.

I did 25 miles on the indoor trainer Saturday and although I was supposed to do 8 miles running on Sunday I misread my plan and only did 7… oops…

I did a short 40 mile bike ride on the Saturday including some sprints. Sunday I “raced” an off-road duathlon. I say raced, but in reality I was just thinking, so didn’t push hard hard.
I walked my dog 4 times. Having a newborn makes it hard to train .. back at it this weekend
An hour on Zwift on Saturday and then 24 km of fat biking through the snow on Sunday.
My weekend’s training consisted of a early morning hill session and a leisurely Sunday ride… I wish. Worked all weekend and couldn’t fit anything in 🙁

It was a 15-25 min warmup then a 3-4mi tempo run with 15-25 min cooldown.
I did this at the local high school and there was a pretty strong wind coming from the east. it made the 2 straights on the track very bi-polar!

I ran on Valentine’s Day a half marathon with my girlfriend which is training the Madrid´s Marathon . Love is on the road
Saturday was 10 miles easy. Sunday was 16 miles with the first 8 hardish (uphill) and second 8 easy (downhill).
