Racing the Rocket City Marathon on Dec 13!
Planning to do a 70.3 next summer after a few years off triathlons and only doing cycling. SO, one workout I have planned is to just get my butt back into the pool and see how much work I have to do!
Going to do a charity half marathon on Sunday. I have no idea what tempo I’ll try to run at as I normally run 10 km or Marathon races. Will be fun no matter what!
I hadn’t had my coffee yet – so I mis-read. I will be going a 7 mile training run on Sunday in prep for the 2015 Frozen Gnome 10k trail race in Crystal Lake, IL :-)

My entry: Between now and the end of the 2014 year I will be training for my first indoor triathlon. Swim, bike, run workouts alternating almost every day of the week save one or two for rest. Building up to that triathlon at the end of the year. The tri is short course: 300m swim, 10mi bike, 5k run. Thanks!

Intervals, intervals, and more intervals on the trainer. 3x / week of various durations. Exciting times for sure!
Tomorrow’s workout is Bowflex strength training then 20 miles on the bike. Today’s was an easy pace 7 mile run.
I’ll be doing 3 rounds of 30 sec on X 30 off X 8 rep bike intervals twice weekly to get ready for a 100 mile ITT put on by the BayArea’s Low Key Hillclimbs folks in Jan/Feb.

I’m aiming to podium Cat 4’s at Snake Alley Criterium in late May. It’s a 12 lap course with some massive climbs for a crit and on cobbles to boot!

It’s time to get back into cycling and swimming after a running focused end of season. So a couple of long-ish swims are on the table: 300m and 400m intervals.
Rock Canyon Half Marathon tomorrow in Colorado. It’s customary for my friend group to dress up ridiculous for this race – so I’ll be sporting some galaxy/cat clothing.
Just a medium long run (15 mi), currently in between training plans and taking it easy

I have many miles of snowy singletrack to slay on my fat bike. I’ll compliment those rides with some indoor bike workouts on my Bkool Pro trainer purchased through Clever Training.

No races this month, it will all be prepping for the Disneyland Star Wars Rebel Challenge in January (10k Saturday, Half Marathon Sunday). Lots of distance runs at Lake Balboa in Encino and hill work in Griffith Park. Might try some early morning December lap work at the pool, too, just to see how I handle it.

12 mile, easy distance in the rain tomorrow morning. That will warm me up for the 90 minute drive to take my 12 year old to a swim meet. Like with all good swim meets, she will race around 500 yards.

Tomorrow I’ll do my roadbike workout: 80km, part of the European IM leg. And I’ll do it as long as the street is dry for as long as I can.
Got a 9 mile trail run scheduled in prep for a winter Half marathon in January in chilly Indiana.
I had foot surgery in august and have not been able to run. Dec 17 i go to dr and I think I will get clearance to run again. So My workout will be starting over again and training my body to run distance! btw PICK ME ! ;)
I will be running in Tübingen (Germany) with my mate Dani for the Despenaperros Atheltics. We will try next Sunday the half marathon (over a hilly frozen track).

Going to run my first Marathon in Sevilha, Spain
In the midst of my December run streak! A minimum of one mile per day, each and every day this December.
Running a full marathon with 4500ft+ of elevation gain tomorrow(12/05) at Northface Endurance Challenge California Trail series and it’s my marathon.
I will run 50km to a sea side town to eat Tuna Ramen!
I’m doing a ‘stride’ workout tonight. I plan on warming up for 10 minutes in zone 1. Then I plan on running 5×20 seconds fast on a soft, gentle downhill. I then plan on walking & hoping (hop 30 times on right leg and then 30 times on left leg), back to start point during each recovery. I then plan on cooling down 10 minutes in zone 1. Its week 1 (prep) of training for the Muskoka Ironman (at the end of August 2015).
Going to ride from Silicon Valley to Santa Cruz, over Old La Honda. 58 miles, 3000ish feet and my wife and kids are meeting me there to drive me back.

Tuesday AM 4000 yard swim; Tuesday PM Trainer night at the local bike shop (Sufferfest video(s) so it will be a surprise)
Too much snow and ice up here, so my trainings will be 1 hour on the bike trainer 2 times a week : 15 min warm up, 30 min intervals, 15 min cooldown.
Signed-up for Trainer Road after reading about it here last week. Started the Sweet Spot training plan using my CycleOps trainer, Domane 4.5 with Garmin Vector for power. Tomorrow will ride “Baxter” on the trainer, and continue on from there following the plan 3 times a week. Ouch, getting in shape to ride faster next year!
