I’d use this to buy a new bicycle head unit with navigation, so that I can get routing without burning down my phone’s battery so quickly.
Not really original, but would buy a FR945 if I had 500 burning in my pocket.
A pedal powermeter would be nice, but a 945 would also be tempting…
Happy fathers day Ray and keep up the good work. Its always a pleasure to read your reviews. You’re my go to site for straight answers. My Garmin jewelry collection could use a refresher of the Fenix kind.
I started cycling at age 50–six years ago, and I’m still using the same, glitchy cycling head unit. I’m ready to upgrade to a sleek, high-end cycling computer. Bring it on!

I would love a new garmin watch. Mine is about 10 years old now, and randomly drops signals mid run. On top of that, it randomly decides when it wants to charge, or not.
Needless to say, this is a good way to upgrade :)
