Today I did my biggest training ride (175km) before Ironman Cairns in 3 weeks. Tomorrow long run 2.5 hours then bring on taper!

Sunday; 20K moderate run – and afternoon recovery with chocolate milk + watchin Giro on the couch :-)

Very varied weekend. Saturday; 6km run, a calf testing run for an injured friend (she’s testing, I’m timing), 2km swim, a couple of of RPM spin classes, then a PT/run/massage session with my coach in the arvo.
Sunday is a day of rest, going to football with on of my daughters.

The weather in Holland now is perfect for a 40k bike ride and climbing a local aquaduct (hey, I have to find an alternative for mountains here..) a few times with my wife, so that is what we’ll be doing!
Watched some of the ultratrail Aus and some hiking. But didn’t get any running in myself

Hilly 100km road in beautiful Wicklow Ireland on Saturday followed by many pints of Guinness and then an easy few hours MTB on Sunday…… la vie est belle Paul

As usual my weekends are for recovery and most of Saturday will be spent in Supermarket and kitchen preparing for dinner with friends.

This weekend is quite busy, started on friday with a multibrick with uphill bike and crosscountry run (times 3). Saturday was a bike in the morning and an afternoon run. Sunday is easy, first openwater swim in the season (12 degrees Celsius outside!) and a nice 2 hour bike ride with some high intensity intervals :)
No training, only a fishing trip to the Brokopondo Lake in Suriname.
Going for a brief ride out in the Surrey hill, maybe 50 miles. 2 kids has massively reduced my riding time sadly!
Lots of long walks around the campground I am staying in.

On Saturday I did a 10k run. On Sunday I did a bike ride with about 70 km and 1000 m of elevation.
A couple of long runs with the hounds, and possibly even some zwift, if the DIY permits.
It may not be all that athletic; but playing a round of Golf with my daughter and then spending all weekend with her cheering on the ladies at the LPGA tournament in Williamsburg.
I’m in the process of training for Dirty Kanza, so I’ve got my last big gravel ride to do this weekend.
