Today is Friday – you made it to the end of the week. But more importantly, today is also Australia Day. I only know that because I’m in Australia, and the beaches are more crowded than the starting line of a marathon (still, I pretended to workout and went for a short swim). Thus, it seems reason enough to give away some gadget goodness. But fear not, I won’t be restricting this to those in Australia, or any other country. Anyone, anywhere on earth, is welcome to join as always.
Somehow it’s been far too long since we’ve last done a giveaway. I seriously don’t know how, because I talk about it almost every month with the Clever Training crew, and then somehow it slips off my radar. Perhaps we just need more holidays to have faux reasons for me to give stuff away.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on almost anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero6 Black, to a Suunto Spartan Ultra, to a random pair of socks, to the Garmin Vector 3 power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats). Also note, your credit is in US dollars, not Australian – otherwise you’d get less. Nobody wants less.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (I.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, January 29th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

The latest Garmin Edge for navigating!
Garmin Vector 3, to help pace my train and half-ironman later this year
I’ve got no clue about what I’d get, a gopro in order to get my 15′ of fame? a second F5 to wear on my second wrist?
Time will tell!
Most likely a GoPro, but might be tempted by a new, music enabled Garmin.
I like the look of those new Wahoo computer thingies. Maybe I’ll get me one of those.
A trainer for zwifting through winter!
I currently only have a dumb trainer and really need an upgrade…
My old Edge 800 is dying ;-( Now is time for a a new Edge or Fenix 5
Might be time to convert to Wahoo and pick up an Elemnt Bolt and a Tickr Fit.
I want a Garmin Edge 1030, so that I can race the Ötztaler without a powerbank
Otherwise I have to becomer faster to shorten the time ;-)
Probably a power meter of some kind.
I’d get a Tacx Neo Smart Indoor Cycling Trainer because I am having so much trouble with my elite trainer that I want to throw it out the window and get something better!
I would option for a Stages Dash. Great Display and so on.
Thanks
i’d like to try the garmin vector 3 so badly! the first 2 iterations were ugly af but the 3 is sexy as hell :)
A trainer for winter torture or a bike computer like Bolt for Strava live segments
A wahoo element, because these old eyes need a bigger screen than my edge 25
I’d get a set of Vector 3 pedals, because it seems no-one in the UK has any.
Garmin FR645 Music would be great – could finally ditch my old iPod shuffle
Thanks Ray!
Edge 1030 or Fenix 5 – it will extra motivate me to keep training
Hi Ray, I would get a Garmin Forerunner 935 as an upgrade from my 235. I have loved this watch but I’m ready for some new tech and extra sports profiles. Thanks for the comp :-)
A Garmin F5 or F5S. I know the F5S is a ‘girlie’ watch but my F3HR is too big and I’ve not been able to do my shirt cuff button up for a number of years now!
I’d like to get a WaHoo Elemnt or the start for a Elite Direto trainer, both could help me train beter. And I rely need to get beter ;-)
Really need a new powermeter (preferably one of the pedal types) as my Stages has been having quite some problems lately.
I have my eyes set on the Forerunner 645 Music… but just in case I’m lucky, would the credit be applicable at clevertraining.co.uk as well?
I would go for a power meter, to improve my bike workouts.
A new triathlon watch after mine was stolen in Vietnam…
I would choose a super silent indoor trainer, so my future child wont wake up in the middle of my workout
I have my heart set on a GoPro Hero 6 and I am pretty much waiting for the price drop to properly kick in here in SA.
Already paid for my Garmin Vector 3 pedals that is on back order else that would have topped the list.
Thank you for great work.
4iii power meter, definitely. because i need more power and it surely provides 4x more power. oh wait, it only measures power? oh well..
I would buy a the latest Garmin Fenix!
I would love to get a power meter (pedals) to start training to power!
I would select the Garmin Vector 3 power meter. I am not satisfied with the Garmin Vector 2
I’d get a Gopro to record my cycling and other adventures. Nice to see you here in WA btw.
He Ray,
great site and thanks for the giveaway! :)
I would choose a powermeter most likely pedal based because I switch bikes pretty often and want to train by power as on the trainer.
I’d buy a Garmin Vector 3, haven’t had a power meter before and I’d love to have one that I can move between bikes.
Garmin Fenix 5 with sapphire glasses cos it’s more durable
Garmin Edge, because I do not have any bike gadget; still using my FR935 as a bike display :-(
Garmin vector 3s or advanced trainer because it’s time for hard winter training
I’d get a FR 935 to replace my FR 920!
I would definitely get a power meter!… or a Garmin Fenix 5!… or a…. hum… it’s so difficult to choose :)
Something Garmin for my bike. Power meter is the most likely.
Vector 3s, cause they look so much nicer than my P1s
A garmin hero 6 or something similar that I can use with a gimbal for smooth mtb videos.
Definitely a 4iiii crank arm power meter
Perhaps an indoor trainer to help get through the grey and wet February.
Either a power meter (maybe Vector 3) because I haven’t got one yet or a new watch (probably a Fenix 5) as mine needs a long over due upgrade.
Hey Ray, would use this to get some power meter pedals to have power data on the road (not just on the turbo!) Dan
I think I’d go for garmin vector pedals this time. But not sure…
I think it would be a Gopro Session 5 or another action cam.
I would get the garmin 735xt so I can record my rowing workouts on the water when the outdoor season starts up again ??
I would go for a GoPro Hero 6
Probably and F5 to upgrade my 920xt, thanks Ray and you did some really great work on the TDU!
Enjoy your holiday
Oh boy, gimme, gimme, gimme. The Garmin FR935 plz! Because I that might give me the kick I need to switch from cycling to tri.
A new smart trainer would do wonders for me to keep my weight under control in the winter!
I will acquire diferente gadgets like polar m600, Wahoo Fitness RPM Speed/Cadence Bundle, scosche replacement band, polar OH1 replacement band and Polar pro strap :-)
I think it would have to be the Garmin Vector 3 pedals, single sided. They look clean & as much as I would love to get a GoPro Hero6 Session (yes I know it doesn’t exist but it should – I want the simple GPS stats/HR data that the 5&6 Black have on a Session!) power data would be a lot more useful! (Especially as I am about to take delivery of a Wattbike so it would be handy to have data both outdoors & in.
Hello there, a Gopro would be really useful, in order to make movie in the Basque Country, when i’m hiking !
Hi Ray, probably a fancy new Garmin watch…pretty unhappy with current Suunto.
I’d pick the FR645 Music. It’s got all the features I need, including music storage. If there are no connectivity issues as with Fenix5, then this is my next pick :) I can’t wait to see your review to pull the trigger :)
A FR 645 Music would be great.
Garmin Vector pedals because they look awesome and it would stop me having to swap my current PM from bike to bike all the time (first world problems!)
I’d get a free power meter, they’re still too expensive though buy! :)
I would like to try a Smart Trainer, hope it is enough to get me motivated again.
Garmin Vector 3 pedals to measure the power I put down on the ride to Queenstown. Ray you will know the hill from your Queenstown runaround a couple of years back
New forerunner 645 – about time to get some music while on the go…
Hi Ray, for me it would have to be a new running Garmin running watch
I would get a Fenix5 to replace my 910XT (that really works too well to normally justify an upgrade).
I would definitely go for the Pioneer Power Meter Upgrade Kit, to upgrade my left only power meter to a fully dual-sided power meter.
Finally a power meter :)
Well this would be an excellent opportunity to finally buy the Garmin Vector 2S Upgrade Pedal that I’ve been considering for a very long time now, and it also sits perfectly at 499$ :-D
Oh, I definitely need a new bike computer.
I would get a new GoPro, since my Session is not working at all when it’s cold ❄️
i wanted to upgrade from my Forerunner 205 for a long time now, this would come in handy
Fenix 5, because I love it!
I’d love to win so that I could buy a Garmin Fenix 5 for my boyfriend, just to upgrade his 3HR ?
What about a new bike trainer ?
I’d take a Garmin 935. My 910 is starting to get a little long in the tooth w/ the enter button randomly not working anymore.
I would definitely order the GoPro Fusion camera. Would be fun to make 360 degree videos from my practices.
I really need a new garmin that my old one committed suicide
I prefer the Garmin 810
A Forerunner 645 (non Music) for my wife. She started running a couple of months ago and I want to give her a little “well done” and “keep going” gift :-)
Garmin Vector 3 power meter pedals, because I don’t have power meter!
100% GO PRO. Either one I’m not fussy. Thanks for ongoing quality of content on your blog.
Garmin 935XT would be nice : )
Thx for the Lottery!
I miss my Fenix, and want a new one. :-)
What a great idea and happy Australia Day!
I’d get a Garmin Edge, probably the 1030. Cheers!
I’d get a 645 music – no more carrying the phone on the runs :)
New bike computer…and some socks if there’s any thing left !
Garmin vector pedals or a watch would be nice
GoPro Hero 6
Suunto watch to relace the buggy fenix 3
I would like to have Garmin Vector 3 to train better
Looking forward for my new Garmin bike computer.
Garmin Forerunner 935. a Fenix5 in a small package. Perfect.
I would get a power meter for my bike. It’s the most important training tool I don’t have.
Rodrigo Valle
garmin vector 3 because – power to the people
Hmm if they don’t sell boats, I’d like to get a powermeter
I’d defo get an Elite Drivo!
I wouldn’t mind the assioma pedals and the scosche hrm!
Hmm, either a wahoo bolt (the 520 keeps dropping sensors & the better nav would be nice) or put it towards a new power meter ready for when the new bike turns up.
Probably the Garmin Vector 3, which would hopefully improve my bike split!
