Today is Friday – you made it to the end of the week. But more importantly, today is also Australia Day. I only know that because I’m in Australia, and the beaches are more crowded than the starting line of a marathon (still, I pretended to workout and went for a short swim). Thus, it seems reason enough to give away some gadget goodness. But fear not, I won’t be restricting this to those in Australia, or any other country. Anyone, anywhere on earth, is welcome to join as always.
Somehow it’s been far too long since we’ve last done a giveaway. I seriously don’t know how, because I talk about it almost every month with the Clever Training crew, and then somehow it slips off my radar. Perhaps we just need more holidays to have faux reasons for me to give stuff away.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on almost anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero6 Black, to a Suunto Spartan Ultra, to a random pair of socks, to the Garmin Vector 3 power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats). Also note, your credit is in US dollars, not Australian – otherwise you’d get less. Nobody wants less.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (I.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, January 29th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

GoPro Here 6! Thank you Ray and CT!
To capture any moment of course!
This would be an exciting choice but probably a fenix 5. Thanks for the chance!
GoPro Hero6 Black, because my action cam died a few weeks ago!
Thanks! I’d go for a Garmin Edge 520 or Wahoo Bolt. The battery in my Edge 810 is starting to lose a lot of it’s run time.
I would get a garmin forerunner 935. Because it is the best running watch on the market. Oh yeah i am data greek too.
I’d buy a new watch. It’s upgrade season

Still winter here…I think finally time for a direct-drive trainer
Id get Fenix 5, because my F3 HR is getting old.
I would try the wahoo bolt!
Something for the bike I think, power meter or computer….
I would go for the Suunto Spartan Ultra. I would choose this as I love my Ambit3, which finally recorded a marathon after 3 failed attempts with Garmin, but with all the updates, particularly better Stryd integration, the Spartan is starting to make me jealous, but my budget will never stretch to $700.
Thanks Ray!
A Garmin 935 as my old 910XT thinks I live at an elevation equivalent to 747 flight plan and only uploads workouts if the moon is correctly aligned to Saturn.
Got to be the Garmin Vector 3s – I sold my PMs when kids came along and now they’re old enough for me to get out biking again!
Thanks Ray
I’d go for the Garmin Fenix 5. My fenix 3 likes to dump its signal and loses a ton of accuracy on the trails despite the settings. Perhaps the 5 wouldn’t be so finicky.
I’d get the new Garmin fr645 music. Can finally leave my phone at home when I’m out running!
That is awesome news! For myself I would target new trainer, Elite Direto would be perfect. My old one finally say it will not cooperate anymore during last workout.
I’d get a Garmin Fenix 5!
I would go for a Garmin cycling computer because I do not have one on my bike or the Garmin tactix Bravo because it´s just cool :-)
After several months of TrainerRoad, I would like the new Garmin power pedals to see what my power numbers look like outdoors.
Not sure, either Spartan Ultra or Hero6…
Hey, new Suunto watch would be great!
The newest Garmin Edge. Because numbers and data and metrics and…
A new Gopro Hero 6 camera would be my choice.I want to capture video of my daughter learning to ride her bike this spring.

I would either get a power meter or a new trainer. Not sure which yet. This because I don’t have a power meter and the trainer I have is 15 years old.
Garmin 935 or Garmin Edge 1030–I think the features they’ve licensed from First Beat are compelling
Basic running GPS watches for my kids, both running middle school cross country.
I’d take the Garmin Vector 3 pedals, not for me (since I already own a pair), but for my wife, who I am introducing to the wonderful sport of cycling and training as we get her ready to ride with me this summer in a 200 miler charity ride, the PMC!

I would definitely like to have a power meter for my road bike. Or a Garmin Fenix 5. Thanks Ray and CT.
An Edge or an Elemnt —- eeeeeee that would be nice!
I’d get a Garmin FR645 – major upgrade to my old TomTom watch. Thanks!
Would reeeaaalllly like to have the Suunto Spartan Ultra because I want to train for my first 50+K ultra and..well the name is the game right?
Probably a new watch for me (Forerunner 935 or the new 645) or a fitness tracker for my wife.
Wahoo Kickr!
I would get a bundle with the Garmin FR935, simple it’s just a watch that can do it all.
I then could do a personal giveaway with my lousy Spartan Trainer.
Garmin vector 3. Want to start training with power meter.
Quarq D-Zero for my gravel rig in preparation for the Dirty Kanza 200 in June.
Probably the Elemnt Bolt.
Tough call. Maybe a 645M. I’m pretty happy with my Fenix 3. But new and shiny are always good.
I would probably go for a power meter and leave it at TBD for now.
Fenix 5, just to have a nice upgrade on my F3
It’d say it would be a toss up between a Garmin 935 or a new Garmin head unit. I’m running some old stuff
Would have to be a power meter for my bike. Have got a smart trainer recently and loving the power data. I now want that outdoors!
Cheers, Ausies. We love you!
I’d probably get the Fenix 5s for my wife, who’s been eyeing my Femix 3hr for a while
Thanks again, Ray

Definitely the Garmin vector 3 to bring my power based training outside
I would like the Wahoo Bolt please. Need to have a good cycle computer.

I would finally buy a power meter to see whether I’m really that weak ?
If I won I would get a power meter for my husband’s 30th birthday coming up!
Ooooh, either a Fenix5 or a 935 – why? not sure I can justify pulling the plug on my 920 just yet but new and shiny is better!
Quarq
I would get KICKR bike trainer because it accepts a through axle.
Thanks, appreciate the giveaway.
I think new Suunto is in order! Thanks for your great reviews!
any sports tech things will be nice to have – maybe oprical hear rate monitor of any kind to pair with my fenix 3
Something that is not out yet… That something would be a Fenix 5 that stays connected to ANT+
I would get a replacement running watch (to my M400). Most likely, a Vivoactive 3 or a FR 645.
Wow,
a give away – it’s always nice to get a gift.
I probably would buy some footwear and a foam roller – itchy feet after long runs.
A power meter for my new bike.
After buying a powermeter I’d like to get a proper cycle computer (as for now using watch on bike). :)
Because I am worth it… or something….
I’d get a power meter. So I could track my power. With the power meter.
I would buy me a new pair of Asics Ds Trainer running shoes. Hope to better my PR on the 10K in them.
I would love the GoPro for summer adventures.
Wahoo kickr
I think a gopro, or maybe a new pair of running shoes
Power meter time! Time to ride like a pro :)
Probably a Forerunner 935 or a power meter.
Hi Ray, I’d put it towards a pair of Garmin Vector 3 to replace my failing Powertap Pro
Hey, I would get the vector 3 pedals from garmin, as I would like to get my watts outside as well after the trainer season.
I’d probably use it towards a pair of Velocomp Powerpods — one for my commuter bike and one for my weekend racer. I know they’re not fancy, precise, direct power measurement accessories, but a power meter is better than NO power meter at all.
Awesome giveaway! Probably pick up a power meter for the new bike I am thinking about
Garmin 935XT since I need a multi sport watch.
Thanks Ray!!
Garmin Vector 3 because they are awesome!!! Thanks Ray
Hello! I am really in need of a new Garmin Forerunner as my ancient watch is struggling to find satellites easily. I’ve got all my digits crossed. Cheers DCR!
