Starting out the weekend with a 40mile TT ride on Saturday. Sunday AM starts early with the beautiful trail run up Zanja peak and quickly turns to chasing my two young boys all over grandmas yard in search of Easter eggs. If all goes well I will be nicely medicated with mimosas at the time the kids reach the meltdown point, somewhere in between sugar high and needing a nap. The wife will mysteriously be no where to be found forcing me to wrangle the little Tasmanian Devils to bed. On Monday, while fully regretting the combination of ham, alcohol and pie, I will begrudgingly drag my carcass from my warm bed only to step on Legos while fumbling around in the dark looking for my running socks. The distance of Monday’s run is yet to be determined as the severity of my forthcoming hangover and Lego wound has yet to be disclosed.
