I’m sure many of you received various sports gadgets over the last few weeks as part of the holidays. But for those unlucky elves who received only a half-eaten gel packet in their Christmas stocking from their not-so-significant others, I’ve got a festivus of a present for you: This giveaway.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on basically anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero7 Black to a Fitbit Versa smartwatch to a random pair of socks to the Favero Assioma power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats or even other vessels like submarines).
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (i.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Friday, December 28th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

I could use a Garmin Edge 1030
Maybe an upgrade from the fenix 5 or a running power device
Power Meter! Probably the Garmin Vector because I don’t have a power meter and I already use Garmin for everything else.
Kickr Core to do some wintertraining on the bike.
I definitely need a smart trainer. Have to wait til next year though cause I brought a new wheel set a few months back and was told that was my Christmas present…
A (new) pair of running shoes for my new year
I’d get a new Garmin watch, to retire my FR35 ?
Hello, Garmin!
Time to upgrade to a smart trainer after many years on a reliable but clunky Craigslist find!
Power Meter
Sooo many pedals to choose from… power meter pedals (Assioma I think).
Time for a Smart Trainer
I would like to get the Favero Assioma UNO Side Pedal Based Power Meter because it would definitely bring my cycling training to the next level.
I have been thinking about doing a tri in 2019 so new gear would be very helpful. Maybe a trainer?
A real GPSwatch would be great to improve my fitness level during my year at the university
Garmin Fenix 5 for those multisport new year’s resolutions
Stages Power Meter. Because all the cool kids have a power meter. Thanks Ray.
Definitely a power meter of some kind as I don’t have one
Something to motivate me until it warms up. Probably a nice new Kickr Core would help :-).
Merry Christmas to you Ray, the Girl and those gorgeous little peanuts
A new Garmin Fenix would be great
I’d get a go pro – I run such cool routes as I travel a lot, so it would be a lot of fun.
A new trainer because it is starting to get cold outside and you can always do late night trainning.
I’d say a power meter… Or a watch.. or a trainer… Well, first I need to win then I’ll choose..
Favero Assioma power meter as I’ve fallen in love with power on the turbo and want it on the roads too!
A simple bike to be able to do my first triathlon in 2019 (hopefully)
I plan to buy a bike this spring, so I’ll need everything for that.
Garmin Fenix 5X. The maps separate it for unplanned trail runs and for hiking!
Fenix 5
I’d go with the Assioma Duo now that the price is right
I used m holiday budget on my kids!
I think i would go for a forerunner 645 music. would give me more options than the current. watch.
A Fenix 5s (plus), to replace my vivoactive hr, which annoyingly freezes (both literally and software-wise) whenever I go skiing and I wear it outside my jacket!
New commute. Could definitely do with a Garmin with maps.
I’d get a new trainer, to help get through the winter.
Probably a cool GPS watch with huge battery life
Santa didn’t get my new trainer request, maybe you can help with that :) It’s just too cold out there
A Garmin Fenix 5, because I think that’s a great looking piece of hardware
Definately time to step up to s direct drive trainer. Probably the core.
I would get one of the Garmin music watches, so I could leave my phone at home while running.
Time for a Smart Trainer For the wintertime!

Wahoo Kickr, please.
Probably a new Garmin… maybe the Fenix 5s
Assioma pedals to finally have dual sided power.

Garmin Fenix 5
Suunto 9. Or maybe just a boatload of socks.
A wahoo fitness kicker
I’d love to give someone ELSE a Fenix 5X Plus, since I love mine so much!
A new sportswatch: a Suunto Spartan Trainer HR or a Polar Vantage M or … I dunno; so many choices. I need to dive in the product comparision tool…
Bike trainer for winter
I would get a fenix 5 plus, too bad no new deals on that yet.
I’d put it towards a Tacx Neo 2.

I’d probably get some sort of power meter – likely pedals since I think that’s the best next step
Fenix 5 Plus for triathlon training, but I could do with a power meter too… decisions decisions.
Edge 520 plus or 820, my 500 is old but greying!

Cheers Scott
Probably a power meter
I’d get a drone to take great photos of my trainings!
Fenix 5, no doubt ahout it.
I will be happy with anything that will motivate me to get on the trainer this winter!
A smart trainer. Living in the UK you never know what the weather is going to do, it could be bright sunshine when you wake up but 15 minutes later when you head out the door to go for a ride there’s a very good chance it’s snowing.
a new gps/mp3 watch would be nice!
probably a ant+ smart trainer to follow on from my Computrainer…..
The barometer/ altitude function have stopped working on my Fenix 3, and I am currently training for the Paris marathon on April. I would love a Fenix 5 please.
F5 so that I can better track my open water swimming
A Wahoo Element Bolt because it looks great and it’s so much better than my current bike computer (none).
Mine is simple. I want to scoop up a Wahoo KICKR. I hate the cold with a passion so I can Zwift the winter away… and I will even make sure DesFit doesn’t jump on my bike. Unless he asks since he seems like a pretty cool dude.
I was hoping to get a new Cycliq Fly 6 to replace my aging 2nd generation model.
I would like a new power meter for my road bike. Or new mtn bike pedals/cleats. Hmmm…don’t worry, I’ll have my mind made up before that $500 comes my way! Keep up the good work!
Hard choice – upgrade the trainer – or a new Garmin watch. Probably the watch :)
A power meter for my new gravel bike
I’d go for the Fenix 5 plus along with a heart rate strap!
Probably a smart trainer!
Tacx bike to replace my NEO!
I really wanted to get the Favero Assioma. Been waiting to upgrade my power meter from an old Stages one that keeps dropping out (for some reason it happens more often when it’s windy). It’s about time for a reliable power meter that I can switch between bikes. Thanks for all the great product reviews!
One of the Forerunner watches, can take or leave the spotify feature. Just wanting something lightweight, versatile, and can handle multisport if I decide to go that route
Probably a new Kickr or Garmin Edge
I’d like the new Tacx Neo with the Blue bottom.
A trainer or bike head unit!
A new garmin watch 935 for pairing to a power meter on the mountain bike.
I’d love to have any gps cycling unit, say Edge 520…
I’d probably get the kickr climb to go along with my new kickr
Would love a power meter, but also love having a wife
GoPro Hero7 Black
Something to help me get into the spirit of working out.
Wahoo trainer so I can still train indoors during the winter time
A trainer for my bike would be awesome!
Tacx Neo Smart. Time to move on from the old Kurt Kinetic.
A couple Garmin devices – FR935 & Edge 520 plus.
This is going to a new KICKR Core…at least that’s the plan for today.
I’d like a new GPS watch. Doesn’t really matter. Mine is on the verge of breaking.
I would love a pair of wings but if you cannot find those a Suunto 9 would be fine
I think I’d get a smart trainer.
Hey Ray, merry Christmas! I’d go for a new Garmin. Mine is 7 years old and starting to crap out.
Take care.
Garmin 1030 because I get lost during training all the Time ?
I’d get some cycle power meters or GPS computer.
New Garmin 935.
Going to need one at attempt IM70.3 Connecticut
Either a Fenix 5+ or a Edge 1030. I’ve got another long tri next fall I could use a little extra battery power for.
