Today is Friday – you made it to the end of the week. But more importantly, today is also Australia Day. I only know that because I’m in Australia, and the beaches are more crowded than the starting line of a marathon (still, I pretended to workout and went for a short swim). Thus, it seems reason enough to give away some gadget goodness. But fear not, I won’t be restricting this to those in Australia, or any other country. Anyone, anywhere on earth, is welcome to join as always.
Somehow it’s been far too long since we’ve last done a giveaway. I seriously don’t know how, because I talk about it almost every month with the Clever Training crew, and then somehow it slips off my radar. Perhaps we just need more holidays to have faux reasons for me to give stuff away.
The winner will get a $500 credit to CleverTraining.com, my most excellent partner in this giveaway crime. By supporting the site through Clever Training you also can save 10% on almost anything they sell (or get points instead). If you win, you can use that credit for anything from the GoPro Hero6 Black, to a Suunto Spartan Ultra, to a random pair of socks, to the Garmin Vector 3 power meter, or heck, even towards a new trainer. Whatever floats your boat (note: they don’t sell boats). Also note, your credit is in US dollars, not Australian – otherwise you’d get less. Nobody wants less.
How to enter:
Simply leave a short description of what product you’d get and why (but don’t worry, you can change your mind later if you win).
The reason you need a short description of ‘why’ is that if you just put a simple product name (I.e. F5), you’ll likely get caught up in my SPAM filters. And nobody wants to be sandwiched between two pieces of SPAM. Got all that?
Good luck!
The giveaway entry period will run through Monday, January 29th, 2018 until 11:59PM US Eastern Time. Winner will be selected randomly. One entry per person. The selected product/products will then be ordered immediately and shipped immediately, assuming they’re in stock.

i will probably go for a 935. or maybe even a 645 if it is posible. i have a 230 + scosche. but the scosche is beginning to have issues. and i am interested in 24×7 hr tracking. so one of those would be a very good option. i am a premium spotify user, so the 645 would fit best there. i cross my fingers!
Its a new Go Pro for me. Or maybe a new Drone Or maybe an indoor trainer , Oh decisions……….
Enjoy Australia, better than floods in Paris……
A Garmin FR935 for my son, as an athlete he can use the watch more then anything, as a 14yo he would never be able to get the money together to buy one on short notice. Thanks for the great give away action and fantastic reviews all year round!!
A giveaway – cool! I would get some variant of a SmartWatch / Fitness watch that will work on both iOS and Android. Properly a Garmin VivoActive 3 or the Forerunner 645 🙂
I think I would go for a Garmin Forerunner 935 as a replacement for my Polar V800!
Difficult choice ! May be a Fenix 5 or a power meter …
Thanks for this great site! I would get the Garmin Forerunner 645 Music since it is the first sports watch with a feature set to make it an alternative to Run.GPS on Android.
I´d like a GoPro, cause I don´t have one yet 🙂
Garmin Vector power meter seems like a good idea
I didn’t decide yet, maybe Garmin Vector 3, or action camera or Edge 1030, definitely some cool gadget
If I was lucky enough to win I’d choose between either the Garmin Vector 3 pedals or a Cycleops Hammer.
The most probably some powermeter pedals …
Garmin vivoactive 3, been lusting over an upgrade for VAHR for a while now.
a forerunner 935 because it’s awesome or maybe a suunto spartan
Garmin VivoActive 3 or the Forerunner 645
I will retire my aging Garmin forerunner 735XT and love to get Garmin forerunner 645 Music or 935.
Thanks for the giveaway Ray! I would go for the Garmin vector 3 power meter because that would allow me to improve my training outdoors.
I’d get a Garmin Forerunner 645 because I never liked the touch screen on my 630.
I’d really put it towards the new Mavic Air.
Sounds too good 🙂
I am a triathlete with big aspirations but small achievements – and I have everything what I need…… probably too much 🙂 My wife is casual runner without any fitness monitors and training plans yet. I want to buy Fenix 5s for her, because thanks this tool she will start training plan, understand how my training is heavy and doesn’t always pleasure – No pain no gain – but only people which sometimes go above comfort zone can appreciate that. Conclusion is that she needs to know where are there her zones.
Favero Assioma pedals !
Probably I would get Polar M430. I’m afetr a sports watch, and i currently use M400 which i got from my brother as he upgraded to Garmin 935. I’ve also considered Vivoactive 3 and Suunto Trainer, as I’m kind of bikie/swim/run and also ski and windsurf. Unfortunatelly Vivoactive is a bit to jewelery and I’m not sure about touch screen interface for sports, and Suunto is a littke bulky. Last but not least my wife loves M430 simple, utilitarian design, and I think they have the best, simple and effective user interface. I took me about half a minute to learn how to use my M400.
Great! I’d go for a DJI Mavic Air to get some footage of an extraordinary kind (at least for me) 😉
I would rather get a trainer. It is cold out there!
A portable trainer to use on travels would be good.
Therfore I will choose a Omnium trainer.
I would want a Garming fr935, just to know the date and time. Who want’s to sport anyway???
I would go for GoPro HERO6 😉
A Garmin 925, Would like a new GPS watch and that one seems to do it all!
I’d like a new computer, maybe a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt… or an action cam, or a power meter, etc. 🙂
Id get a Garmin forerunner 935. I just signed up for my first ultra marathon and it’ll be great to not have to worry about using my phone to track runs anymore
Hmmm maybe a garmin 360 camera. Because it is cool to have VR movie.
Thanks, I’d like a GoPro Hero6 Black.
I could use a Wahoo Elemnt, Bold or not, to replace my Wahoo RFLKT+
a power meter! tired of strava’s estimated power
A Garmin running dynamics pod to pair up with my Forerunner 935. Because how else can I track running power and have all those nice new (largely meaningless) techy graphs and stats to obsess over??
Thanks Ray for great site and reviews!
I’d love to have Vector 3 pedals and lift my cycling to a new level.
Hm… I might just use the $500 as initial funding for a SRAM eTap group. Or maybe a smart trainer? Hm…
I might get a Fenix 5, just to keep updated and replace my Fenix 3. On the other hand, I really like my Fenix 3 so I might get a pair of unnecessary power meters so I can keep track of how many watts I expend on my daily commutes… 🙂
Upgrade Vector 2 pedals to Vector 3.
I’d get a pair of Favero Assioma or possibly a mavic air. ?
//Kristian
Go Pro hero 6 to replace my drowned 5….please.
Not sure what, but something cool because I deserve it.
I would probably get a Fenix 5, I think.
fenix 5 could be a nice upgrade to my “old” fenix 3. On the other hand, i still don’t have a powermeter… why not?!
I would go for a Garmin Forerunner 935 so I can track my runs and to see how fast I’m going with kitesurfing
I would go for a mavic air. Thanks!
a new gadget such as the Vector3 would greatly help me keep ut the exercise motivation while freezing my but of far north in Norway, while reading excelent articles coming from sunny Australia.
Thanks Ray ! Probably a set of powermeter pedals (Garmin Vector 3?) for me !
I”d get a fenix 5
He Ray, I would definately go for the Elite Direto Smart Trainer. Would be a nice upgrade for my paincave.
I’d totally buy a GoPro! Cheers!
Garmin Vector 3, because POWERRRR!!!
i would get a 360 action camera
Hello, Ray!
A Suunto Spartan for me, I like this watch 🙂
I would like to get an action cam. Probably a garmin action cam that can connect to sensors. I could se it being very popular with my cycling and running friends.
Probably a powermeter
I really think I might go for an Edge 1030, or could get your idea of the Vector 3? Who knows.
Please send me my credit in 10$ and 20$ pieces ok?
bye
mayby a new gopro or a garmin edge for on the bike
Garmin Vivoactive 3. It just fits my lifestyle and fitness regime 🙂
Hello Ray, I will choose the Wahoo Bolt for my biking holidays
Looking forward to your next reviews
Gerard
A power meter, which one? First have to go through your reviews again, and again and again to make the best decision. I tend to vector 3 at this moment.
I would get a powermeter for my wife, she lets me have all the new stuff. So it must her turn now
A Garmin FR 645 would be music in my ears!
Hello, With that credit, I will get a virb 360, wonderful to get all the sport action !
Just want a battery that lasts more than current scosche’s one, would love to try 360 gopro too
The Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, as my wife wants a cycle computer to follow routes and record rides.
Probably GoPro Hero with some accessories. So a could mount it on my dog.
Fenix 5 to replace my Vivoactive HR and get audio prompts when running.
I would get a Garmin 935 because I have to much issues with a Fenix 5 and ANT devices
Garmin Edge! Almost time to get back out on the roads.
I would use the credit against a Fenix 5 to replace my trusty and well used Fenix 3. I’d like to try wrist based hr and running power.
Thumbs up Ray for another giveaway!
I think I would go for a new Garmin triathlon watch.
Good moarning!
With €500 i would like to buy…. POWER!
Peter
I would be using this credit towards vector power pedals. Currently using power pod but I’m seeing some strange spikes at times and want to upgrade.
I’d go for the gopro to register my journeys through the woods 🙂
Garmin Edge 1030. Will use it for my Okinawa tour in June this year.
the Garmin Vector 3 hands down.
With the 3rd iteration they just got it right. Been a happy Powertap P1 user for a while now, but since i have seen the Vector 3 the P1 just appear dated, bulky and frankly – they need to go. Pondering whether or not i should replace them for a while now and the CT credit would definitely push me over the edge.
Garmin Forerunner 645 Music and ditch the phone!
Probably an updated Garmin watch or a GoPro Hero 6. Most likely the latter though 😉
i would go for the wahoo bike computer!
I don’t know, I quite like spam, so if I were sandwiched between two pieces it might be quite fun… I’d have to put the credit towards a new trainer, probably a Kickr or Direto. Thanks Ray!
I’d go for Garmin Forerunner 935 as it packs all the goodness in a lightweight body.
Garmin Vector 3/3S Pedal-Based Power Meters. I want to improve my cycling in my way “#roadtokona”
suunto spartant ultra to upgrade my fenix 5. I prefer sunnto for his movescount tool
Do they have the Mavic Air???
If not, new trainer so I can do Zwift.
Some Vector 3 pedals – tired of switching cranks around
I would really need a pair for Garmins Vector power meter pedals to motivate me for my 800km ride in June.
Thanks Ray!
Wahoo Elemnt Bolt!
I’d like to get the Garmin Vector 3 pedals, to replace my Vector 2…
I would love to try a suunto watch for the sport. I have never used one but I am planning on buying one this year.
Thank you
I would like to have go pro hero to record my sons activities
Garmin Forerunner 935, to see what the other side has to offer (I’m currently an Ambit3 user)
I will buy power meter (Vector 3?) with addition of energy bars. It will perfectly match to my new Wahoo Snap:-)
With upcoming events like winter triathlon and marathon, I like to lose weight and replace my trusty Fenix3 with a lightweight FR935.
A Garmin pedel power meters, because easy to transfer between bikes!
I would get fr935. Good battery, small enough not to bother me wearing on a regular basis.. and ofcourse reliable running/tri watch.
Would love to get the Garmin Vector 3 Power Meter in order to see how much more power I could use to get up the hills!
Very likely Fenix 5 . Got Suunto , Want to try/compare with Garmin
I’d go for a Garmin Virb 360 as I find the HyperFrame concept pretty cool.
A new Garmin Edge… because nobody likes to be riding around with an old model 😉
