We took a self-supported gravel ride through Estonia. We planned to make it a 2 day event, 380km in total, but since day one started later than it should we finished at 21.00, soaking wet, cold and tired. Found a forrest cabine to spend the night. Day 2 we decided not to take the second part and cycled 90km to hot sauna.
So Day 1 – 160km (40km tarmac, 20km forest trails, 100km gravel roads), 9h in total, 2,8C avg temp.
Day 2 – 90km (10km gravel, 80km taramac), 4h in total, 6,6C avg temp.
Out of that 13h it didn’t rain for 2h.
We’ll do this again in spring when it’s warmer outside and maybe less rainy! :D
