The Timex Run Trainer 2.0 builds on the initial Timex Run Trainer GPS unit, by going with a bit slimmer size and a much refreshed menu system. Thus far, after a single three-hour run I’m digging the new changes. Primarily, the much quicker/cleaner menu’s, and the new nutrition alerts. The unit is expected to release in March, and my review will be roughly around the time the software is finalized (March). Thankfully, since this is a running related review, it’s not in the clogged up bike-related queue (queue times are more or less directly impacted by how many workouts I get on a watch, and with bike stuff – specially trainers – I can only test one at a time).
