It turns our I’ve written a fair bit of stuff over the past few years – and after it disappears from my front page, a lot of it never really sees the light of day again without Google’ing skillz. Or a photographic memory…which I don’t have. I’ve taken a look back and found stuff that…continues to find a trickle of readers via web searches or forum links.

Looking forward to this review as I will be in the market for a new trainer with virtual/interactive software next year when us southern hemisphere folks enter winter.
On a semi-related note, have you thought about adding an ETA for reviews for the items in “The Queue”?
Yup, hope to have this one out quickly, since I’ll just be focusing on the software portion (as I’ve already reviewed the trainer itself).
I have thought about adding an ETA, but honestly, it’s tough for me to pin down ETA’s as lots of things impact them – primarily, my ability to find time with the rest of work/life/etc…
Wow, Gatineau Park! Did you ride it? I ride it regularly in real life and I love it. It’s the closest thing we have to a real “mountain” around here. I wonder how the virtual one compares.
When is the review coming out….
Hey Ray,
Thanks for all the great posts. I love reading your blog. Question: I just got the powerbeam with joule GPS. I have 2 issues.
1.Did you find that the “in-front” mount that come with it didn’t have the joule sit straight on it (my is leaning to the left and is not centered on the mount).
2. When setting up with virtual trainer, it asks you to set up using the joule 3.0, but the units today come with the joule 3.0. Am I missing something or do I have to use a keyboard and mouse even though I paid extra to get the joule head unit.
Thanks
I meant Joule GPS not joule 3.0, sorry. Doing it from my mobile
Ray,
Any idea when we will see this review
Ditto to Ron, any ETA on the powerbeam software review? It’s not like you are doing reviews everyday or anything
Just busting chops….
